Langerton Block 5
The Block 5 vertical decoupling elements are highly effective with a tremendous load capacity. By taking materials into account, the structure of the Block 5 avoids influencing the signal with active corrective measures. This means that software and hardware-based effects cannot develop. The effect of the Block 5 is very good even under high strain.Langerton's vertical (Block 5) and horizontal (Stand / Base) decoupling elements complement each other in application with no exclusions. The field of application is very broad individually and comprehensive together.

Dimensions in mm: 50 x 33-40 WxH (2 x 1.3-1.6 inch)

Key Kim of The StereoTimes wrote (Jan. 2017):
"...the Block 5 is a meticulously crafted anti-resonance device made by Langerton Configurations out of its production facility in Castle Trautskirchen in Germany.  They are atypical in that they are made from several different materials and are height adjustable.  After installing the Block 5s under my components, I immediately heard additional clarity, detail and speed with improved dynamic precision..."

Robert Schmitz-Niehaus, Hoererlebnis:
"...using the Block 5, one can hear the great improvements in the detail, the timing and the spatial aspects (sound stage). The amount of improvement increases with the quality of the system – the better the system, the more improvement is heard.  It's like before using the Block 5, there was a gray veil masking the sound, and through the use of the Block 5, the veil is lifted, revealing the real sound of the system. This makes the mid-tones finer, fresher and more elegant..."

Joerg Honecker, jamclub music school , Tuebingen:
"...the 'Block 5' absorbers make an impression of very high quality even at first glance, visually enhancing the components of a hi-fi system when they are positioned on the 'Block 5'. When you pick them up, the small blocks have a surprising weight. No matter under what devices I put the 'Block 5', the listening pleasure for audiophiles is enhanced: drives run more smoothly and quietly, sound depth is improved, the basses reach the ear tighter and more highly defined, resonating strings and singing voices perceptibly gain contour. I was especially impressed after using the 'Block 5' under my record player. Since each 'Block 5' is continuously variable in height, making the turntable precisely horizontal is a snap. Drive system noises that might be audible and therefore bothersome are significantly reduced. The positioning of the individual instruments and voices in the overall sound impression of the respective recording resounds in new dimensions as well. I really enjoy experiencing my favourite recordings again in never-before-heard quality..."
